He joined the Oxford Battalion Light Infantry on September 1, 1914, and served in France, Belgium and Germany. He was discharged on May 19, 1919. WARDER, Arthur Charles WWII Charles was born in Birch Hills, SK, in 1918. He joined the Medical Branch of the Royal Canadian Naval Voluntary Reserve and served in the Halifax area. Charles passed away in 2007. He was a member of the Birch Hills Branch #122 for over 30 years. WARDER, Sydney John WWII Sydney was born in Birch Hills, SK, in 1921. He joined the Army and served with the Canadian Dental Corps, the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry, the Saskatchewan Light Infantry, the Royal 22nd Regiment, and Royal Canadian Dragoons in Southern England, Sicily, Italy, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. He passed away in 1999. WARDER, Frank Goodman WWII Frank was born in Birch Hills, SK, in 1916. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in England and Scotland. Frank passed away in 1995.
