The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 329 THOMARAT, Armand Sr. WWI Armand was born in France in 1895. He joined the Infantry and served in France and Turkey. He received the Military Medal, the Croix de Guerre, the Commemorative Medal, and the Volunteers for Combatant Service Medal. THOMARAT, Gilbert WWII Gilbert was born in 1925. He joined the RCASA, serving in Canada, England, Belgium, Germany, and Holland. He received the France-Germany Star, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal & Clasp, and the 1939-45 War Medal. THOMPSON, Hiram Hull WWI Hiram was born in Lemberg, SK, on April 21, 1892. In 1916, he joined the Army with the Artillery 4th Division and served in France and Belgium. He fought at Vimy Ridge and served with occupational troops after the war, and was discharged in 1919. Hiram passed away on February 16, 1982. THOMARAT, Maurice WWII Maurice was born in 1923. He joined the 9th Army British Columbia Dragoons in Canada, England, Italy and North Africa. He received the 1939-45 Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal & Clasp, the Defence Medal, the Italy Star, the 1939-Star, and the Africa Star.
