He enlisted in the Canadian Army on December 6, 1943, and served at Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, until his discharge on September 7, 1945. He was a Legion member at North Portal, SK. He worked at Motorways Transport until he passed away on April 27, 1995. ARMSTRONG, Thomas William PEACETIME Thomas was born in Dryden, SK in 1934. He enlisted in the Air Force, serving in Canada, France and Africa. He was a member of the Whitehorse, Yukon Legion Branch #254 for twenty-one years before he passed away in 1991.
