The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 285 RODGERSON, Emerson Lorne KOREA & SPECIAL DUTY & PEACETIME Emerson was born in O`Leary, PEI, on May 11, 1930. He joined the Canadian Army on August 13, 1950, and was discharged on October 20, 1952. He joined the RCAF on August 4, 1953, and was discharged on January 31, 1968. He then joined the regular component on February 1, 1968, to December 24, 1972, having served in Korea, Canada and the USA. He received the Korean Star and the United Nations medal. After his release, he worked for the DPW. Emerson passed away on June 11, 1997. ROWAN, Andrew G. WWI Andrew was born in Dunblanc, Scotland, in 1879. He joined the C.E.F. 4th Field Company in November 1914, and was discharged on May 23, 1919. RUNGE, Muriel PEACETIME Muriel was born in Duck Lake, SK, in 1961. He joined the CFS Alsask, CFB Calgary, 4 Wing Cold Lake, 441 Squadron Cold Lake and 17 Wing Winnipeg and served in Canada. She received the Canadian Forces Decoration Medal and the Commemorative Medal for the 125th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada. RUNGE, Joseph PEACETIME Joseph was born in Edmonton, AB, in 1960. He joined the CFS Alsask, LDSH (RC0. ISVC BN, 4WG Cold Lake, 17 WG Winnipeg, 402 Squadron, 1Cdn Air Division UNDOF, serving with the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force. He received the UNDOF, the CPSM and CDI medals.
