ARCAND, Joseph WWII Joseph was born on May 4, 1905 in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, SK and enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps on November 17, 1941 and was discharged on November 16, 1944 after serving in Canada and Britain. He received the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp and the War Medal 1939-45. Joseph passed away in 1976. ARCAND, Louis WWI Louis was born on July 13, 1898 in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, SK and enlisted with the 5th Battalion on June 1, 1916 and was discharged on January 25, 1919 after serving in Canada, Britain and France. Louis received the British War Medal and the Victory Medal. He was wounded in action on August 12, 1918. ARCAND, Joseph Thomas WWII Joseph Thomas was born on September 21, 1918 in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, SK and enlisted with the Royal Canadian Engineers on May 16, 1941 and was discharged on December 19, 1945 after serving in Canada, Britain, and the Mediterranean. He received the 1939-45 Star, the Italy Star, FranceGermany Star, Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, and the War Medal 1939-45. Joseph Thomas passed away in 1970.
