He received the 1939-45 Star, the Italy Star, the France-Germany Star, Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, and the War Medal 1939-45. Francis passed away on September 2, 1990. ARCAND, George WWII George was born on July 3, 1907 in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, SK and enlisted with the Saskatoon Light Infantry (M.G.) on October 30, 1939 and was discharged on June 7, 1941 after serving in Canada and Britain. George received the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, and the War Medal 1939-45. He passed away in 1980. ARCAND, John Baptiste WWI John Baptiste was born on January 24, 1896 in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, SK and enlisted with the 232nd Battalion on May 1, 1916 and was discharged on January 3, 1917 after serving in Canada. ARCAND, Gregory WWII Gregory was born on November 12, 1913 in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, SK and enlisted with the Algonquin Regiment on October 27, 1943. He was discharged on April 24, 1946 after serving in Canada, Britain and Northwest Europe. Gregory received the 1939-45 Star, the Defence Medal, FranceGermany Star, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, and the War Medal 1939-45. He was wounded in action on October 10, 1944.
