The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 19 ARCAND, Alphonse WWII Alphonse was born on August 17, 1916 in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, SK. He enlisted at the Canadian Army Base Training Centre 31 on December 4, 1941 and served in Canada until his discharge on February 16, 1942. Alphonse received the 1939-45 War Medal. ARCAND, Arthur Roland KOREA Arthur was born on October 26, 1931 in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, SK. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army Corps on January 24, 1952 and was discharged on May 17, 1956. Arthur received the Korea Medal and United Nations Service Medal (Korea). ARCAND, Collin WWII Collin was born on January 13, 1924 in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, SK and enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army on June 30, 1941 and was discharged on May 14, 1945, serving in Britain with the Saskatoon Light Infantry, Royal Canadian Army Service Corps and the Canadian General Pioneer Company. He received the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, and the War Medal 1939-45. Collin passed away in 1947. ARCAND, Clement KOREA & SPECIAL DUTY AREA Clement was born on November 11, 1921 in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, SK and enlisted in WWII with the Royal Canadian Army Corps on June 25, 1941 and was discharged on January 14, 1946. He re-enlisted again with the Corps for service in Korea on January 26, 1952 and was discharged on January 26, 1955. He served in Canada, Britain, Central Mediterranean and NW Europe during WWII, and in Canada and the Far East for Korea. Clement received the WWII 1939-45 Star, the Italy Star, France-Germany Star, Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, the War Medal 1939-45, and the United Nations Service Medal (Korea). Clement passed away on July 12, 1993.
