The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 207 LECOUILLARD, Marcel Douglas WWII Marcel was born in Reynaud, SK, on May 11, 1918. He joined the Royal Regina Rifles in Regina and served in Canada, England and Scotland. In the late 1940’s, he moved to Regina where he married and raised a family. He was killed in a trucking accident on June 13, 1973, and is buried in the Soldier’s Plot in Regina’s Riverside Memorial Park. LEDOUX, Isidore Richard WWI Isidore was born in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, SK. He enlisted with the Canadian Railway Troop on March 2, 1917, serving in Canada, Britain and France. He was also part of the Canadian Expeditionary Force. He was discharged on December 24, 1918, and received the British War Medal and the Victory Medal. LEIGH, Walter Scott WWI Walter was born in Devon, England, in 1895. He enlisted with the 401st Battery 14th Brigade on April 10, 1915, and served in France. He was discharged on March 3, 1919. LEDOUX, Vincent WWII Vincent was born in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, SK, on September 8, 1912. He joined the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps on November 4, 1941, serving in Canada and Britain. He was discharged on February 13, 1946, and received the Defence Medal, the CVSM and Clasp and the War Medal 1939-45. He passed away on July 25, 1981.
