The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 121 FEATHERBY, Walter John “Jack” WWII Jack was born in Pierson, Manitoba, in 1915, and joined the RCAF in 1939. He was an LAC, working on the flight trainers in Canada and England until 1945. Upon his return to Canada, he rejoined the Canadian Pacific Railway and worked as a conductor. Jack passed away in 1994. FEDYK, John WWII John was born in Jedburg, SK, on June 7, 1920, and enlisted on March 12, 1940, under the National Resources Mobilization Canadian Army in Regina. He served for four-and-a-half years in Maple Creek, Regina, and Saskatoon. He married in 1947, and spent his life farming. He was discharged on August 17, 1945, and passed away on July 25, 2004. FIELD, Stuart Stanley WWII Stuart was born in Prince Albert, SK, on April 14, 1919, and joined the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps on September 26, 1940, serving in Canada, England, France, Belgium and Germany. He was discharged on September 21, 1945, in Regina, SK, and received the 1939-45 Star, the FranceGermany Star, the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp, and the 1939-45 War Medal. FERGUSON, Leon WWII & KOREA Leon was born in 1922. He joined the Army and served in Canada, the UK, Continental Europe and Korea. He received the 1939-45 War Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, the Defence Medal, the UN Service Medal, the Canadian Korean War Medal, and the Voluntary Service Korea Medal.
