He received the 1939-45 War Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, and the Defence Medal. FAURE, Lloyd A. WWII Lloyd was born in Maple Creek, SK, on February 2, 1922. He joined the South Saskatchewan Regiment on May 2, 1922, serving in England, France, Holland, Belgium and Germany. He was wounded on August 27, 1944, at Sain River in France and was hospitalized in England until May 1945. He went back to Holland as a motor transport with an Army show for the troops sponsored by the Canadian Legion until his return home after his discharge in March 1946. Lloyd still operates his farm. FEATHERBY, James Earl WWII & KOREA James was born in MacLean, SK, in 1923 and grew up in Outlook, SK. He enrolled in the Royal Canadian Navy from Outlook on July 15, 1940, two days after his seventeenth birthday. He served during World War II and the Korean conflict until 1959, when he was retired for medical reasons. He was Chief Petty Officer second class, Master at Arms, Trade Group Four, and received several medals. James was honourably discharged on October 28, 1959, and passed away in 1982. FEATHERBY, David Elmer WWII & KOREA David was born in Deloraine, Manitoba, in 1920. He joined the Navy on the HMCS Prince David-Sioux, the Athabaskan, the Crescent-StadaconaNaden, serving in the North Atlantic, Japan and Korea.
