The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 103 DOVE (BEDARD), Maimie WWII Maimie was born in St. Brieux, SK on January 19, 1925 and enlisted in the Air Force in October 1942 serving in Canada and was discharged in October 1945. She received the Defence Medal and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. DOVE, Stanley WWII Stanley was born in Speers, SK on August 4, 1921 and joined the Air Force # 8 Repair Depot, Winnipeg and Moncton in October 1942 serving in Canada. After his discharge in October 1945, he farmed in Speers. He received the Defence Medal and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. Stanley passed away in April 1987. DUNBAR, Alexander Henery WWII Alexander was born in Biggar, SK on November 6, 1922 and joined the Army in 1943, serving in Canada, Europe and France and was discharged in 1946. He was wounded in the leg and spent time at a Red Cross Hospital. He passed away on May 22, 1990. DUMONT, William Allan WWII William was born in 1922 and joined the Army, serving in Canada, the UK and Continental Europe. He received the 1939-45 War Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, the Defence Medal, the France-Germany Star and the 1939-45 Star.
