Military Service Recognition Book Volume 10 82 The Town of Stonewall would like to pay tribute to the many Manitobans who left their homes and families in the name of democracy and who willingly fought to protect our rights and freedoms. These individuals are indeed deserving of our utmost recognition and admiration, and to those men and women, we say thank you. We are honoured to extend our sincere thoughts from the citizens of the Town of Minnedosa to the memory of those who have given the ultimate sacrifice while fighting for our freedom and democracy. Our current members of the Armed Forces and our Veterans have selflessly contributed to the quality of life that we Canadians enjoy today. While it is important to recognize the sacrifices made by our Veterans and their families, it is also important that we support those members now serving in harm’s way and their families. We are proud of our Canadian Men & Women who wear the uniform of the Canadian Armed Forces. We will remember those who have served and we are thankful to those who now serve. Council, Staff and Citizens of the Town of Minnedosa Is proud to support the brave men and women who sacrifice so much to ensure our freedom.
