LEST WE FORGET 61 BIGGS, Edwin Percy WWI Edwin was born on October 28, 1886 in Northampton, England, taking his schooling and training as a carpenter. He came to Canada on April 23, 1914 and took a homestead in the Edmore District where he met and married Ivy Green. He joined the 214th Overseas Battalion, Saskatchewan Regiment on March 13, 1916. Edwin served overseas until his discharge in 1918. After his return, he returned to the farm and after a short period he moved to Saskatoon. They lived there until he retired and they moved to Selma Park, BC. BOORMAN, William George RCMP William enlisted on November 15, 1933, and served in the RCMP E Division and then transferred to G Division Eastern Artic. Cst.William Boorman passed away on May 26, 1937, in Elsie Island, Hudson Bay, Nunavut, at the age of 26. BLACK, Norman S. WWI Norman was a World War I veteran. He enlisted in 1916 and fought overseas in World War I with the Garry Horse Regiment and was severely gassed. After the war, he returned home and farmed east of Pelly.
