ARCAND, Louis WWI Louis was born on July 13, 1898, in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan and enlisted with the 5th Battalion on June 1, 1916 and was discharged on January 25, 1919 after serving in Canada, Britain and France. Louis received the British War Medal and Victory Medal. He was wounded in action on August 12, 1918.
