LEST WE FORGET 3 A Message from the Premier On behalf of the Government of Saskatchewan, it is an honour for me to provide greetings for the 17th Annual Military Service Recognition Book. Saskatchewan is proud of all our Veterans who have served, and express gratitude to those who continue to serve so bravely and with such great courage, selflessness, and determination. For more than a century, Saskatchewan men and women have made valiant and noble sacrifices as members of the Canadian Armed Forces. And, as a province and as a nation, we commend those in uniform, past and present, for their tireless contributions to our communities, our province, and our country. I commend everyone that has contributed their time and energy to make this publication possible. As a historical resource, this commemorative book allows us to meet more personally the military personnel who made immense contributions to protect the freedom we enjoy today. Thank you to all of our Veterans who answered the call to service, and to our brave sons and daughters who still answer the call today.
