LEST WE FORGET 45 APSHKRUM, Samuel Oscar WWII Samuel was born on August 2, 1917, in Manitoba. He enlisted with the Army on May 17, 1941 and served with the 37th Battery of the 17th Field Regiment in England, Italy, France, Holland, Belgium and Germany until his discharge on December 8, 1945. He received six Service Medals: Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, Defence Medal, War Medal 1939-1945, Battle of Britain Medal 1939-1945, 1939-1945 Bronze Star and the France and Germany Bronze Star. Samuel passed away on March 13, 1983. ARCAND, Clement WWII & KOREA Clement was born on November 11, 1921 in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan and enlisted in World War II with the Royal Canadian Army Corps on June 25, 1941 and was discharged on January 14, 1946. He reenlisted again with the Corps for service in Korea on January 26, 1952 and was discharged on January 26, 1955. He served in Canada, Britain, Central Mediterranean and NW Europe during World War II, and in Canada and the Far East for Korea. Clement received the 1939-1945 Star, Italy Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, War Medal 1939-1945 and the United Nations Service Medal (Korea). Clement passed away on July 12, 1993. ARCAND, Albert WWII Albert was born on January 24, 1918, in Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan. He enlisted with the Canadian Army on June 20, 1940 and served in Canada, Britain and North West Europe until his discharge on November 28, 1945. He received the 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp and War Medal 1939-1945. Albert passed away in 1972.
