LEST WE FORGET 281 SHAW, Robert WWI Robert was born in Yorkshire, England, in 1886. He joined the 77th Depot Battery C.F.A. in April 1916 as a driver and served in Canada, England and France. In April 1919, Robert was discharged with the rank of corporal. He received the General Service Medal and the Victory Medal. It is interesting to note that his son, K.J. (Bill) Shaw, served in the RCAF as a mechanic during World War II. Robert joined the Earl Grey Branch in April 1930. SHILLINGTON, Howard WWII Howard was born in Delisle, Saskatchewan. He joined the Air Force and served in Canada and the USA. He passed away in 2002. SHILLINGTON, Donald WWII Donald was born in Delisle, Saskatchewan. He joined the Navy and served in Canada and the Atlantic Ocean. He passed away in 1999.
