The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 87 BROWN, Thearon WWII Thearon was born in 1923 in Antelope, one of nine children on the family homestead. He enlisted near the end of the war and died on March 3, 1945 during the liberation of The Netherlands. BROWN, Walter Cecil WWII Walter joined the Army in 1940 and served as a Sapper with the Royal Canadian Engineers during World War II. He was discharged in 1945. BROWN, Walter Wesley WWI Walter was born in 1897 in Minnesota, United States. He joined the Canadian Expeditionary Force and was in training in Regina for just over one year but the war ended so he did not get to go any further. He served between May 8, 1918 and February 6, 1919. Walter passed away in June 1981.
