For over a century, the brave women and men of the Canadian Armed Forces have answered the call to fight for this country, defending our values, our freedoms, and our quality of life as Canadians. The people of Saskatchewan are profoundly grateful to our Veterans for their courage and sacrifice in defence of our country. Together we honour their service, celebrate their proud history and remember those who have sacrificed for our freedom. Thank you to everyone who helped make this publication possible, including family members of the military personnel profiled in this book. Your support helps Saskatchewan Command sustain many ongoing community activities and continue to fulfill its role as the "Keepers of Remembrance".
