She joined the Royal Canadian Navy and served in England during World War II. Violet passed away in 2003. BAILEY, Fred WWII Fred, son of Alf Bailey, was from the Rosebank area and served during World War II. He was with the Royal Canadian Air Force until 1944. BAILEY, Roy WWII Roy, son of Alf Bailey, was from the Rosebank area. He served during World War II, from 1941 to 1946. BAPTISTE, Edward Jean WWI Edward served in WW I with the 46th Battalion and the Saskatchewan Regiment, 4th Canadian Division. He was killed in action on August 9, 1918 and now rests at the Vimy Memorial. BAYLISS, Frank WWI Frank served in the Canadian Regiment during World War I. Sergeant Bayliss was killed in action in 1917 and is buried at the Vimy Memorial. BOYES, George WWI George joined the South Saskatchewan Regiment in Carnduff, Saskatchewan and was wounded while serving overseas during World War I. CHATTERSON JOLLIFFE, George John WWI George served as a Private in WWI in the Canadian infantry. He was killed in action on May 8, 1915 at the age of 29 and he is memorialized on the Menin Gate Memorial. COLLINS, Antoine “Tony” WWI Tony was born in Meadow Lake. He served in WWI with the 225th Battalion, 46th Battalion, South Saskatchewan Regiment, 4th Canadian Division. He was killed in action on August 15, 1918. COSGROVE, Albert Vail WWI Albert joined the Royal Air Force at the age of 24 and served as a Second Lieutenant during WWI. He was killed in action in 1918 at the age of 24 and is buried in the Grand-Seraucourt British Cemetery. CROZIER, Lloyd Donald James WWII Lloyd enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII. Sergeant Crozier was killed in action on March 23, 1942 and is buried in the Scampton Churchyard in the United Kingdom. CYR, Raymond WWII & PEACETIME Raymond was born in Jackfish Lake, AB. He served on HMCS Hespeler of the Royal Canadian Navy and with the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve. DESJARLAIS, Edward WWI Edward was born in Jasmin. He joined the Army during World War I and served with the 188th Battalion. DIXON, Grant J. WWII Grant was born on June 5, 1927 in Rathwell, MB. He enlisted in June 1944 and served in Canada, leaving the service in June 1946. Grant was married. DOCKSTADER, James S. T. KOREA James was born on March 18, 1930 in Saskatoon. He enlisted in 1949 and served in Korea as Leading Seaman. James left the service on May 17, 1954. James was married. ELLIOTT, James WWI James served as a Private in World War I with the Canadian Machine Gun Corps. He was killed in action on October 30, 1917 and is buried at the Menin Gate Memorial in Ypres. ENS, Frank WWII Frank was born on June 16, 1919. He served as a Private in the Canadian Army during World War II. Frank was killed in France on July 20, 1944.
