He died on June 11, 1944 at the age of 21 and is buried in France in the Bénysur-Mer Canadian War Cemetery. YOUNG, Joseph H. WWII Joseph was born in 1920. He joined the Army in 1941 and served as a Corporal with the 14th Canadian Hussars, 8th Recce, Regiment CAAE until his discharge in 1946. Joseph was awarded the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, the 1939-45 Star, the France and Germany Star and the Defence Medal. YOUZWA, David PEACETIME David joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1957 and served with 427 Fighter Squadron. He was released in 1963.
