Private Stephenson was killed in action at the age of 21 on May 22, 1915. He is buried at the Vimy Memorial in France. STOBBS, Cyril Clayton H. KOREA & PEACETIME Cyril was born in 1929 in Brancepeth, Saskatchewan. He served in Canada with the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry until his posting to Korea with the 2nd Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, with service in Japan and Korea. Cyril has been a member of Robertson Memorial Legion Branch 17 in Medicine Hat, Alberta for forty-four years. STOBBS (TOWNSEND), Esther E. WWII Esther was born in 1924 in Brancepeth, Saskatchewan. She joined the Army and served with the Canadian Women’s Army Corps in Regina until she married. Esther was a member of Stony Plain Legion Branch 256 for a number of years prior to her death in 2004.
