He joined the Army and served as a Private in England during World War I. Francis passed away on July 9, 1979. PRINGLE, James Allen WWII James was born in Carnduff in 1923. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force on December 15, 1942 and served until his discharge on June 30, 1943 due to being medically unfit. James was a member of Carnduff Legion Branch 216 and served as President and Secretary before he passed away in 1993.
