The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 343 MIRAU, Keith SPECIAL DUTY AREA Keith was born in 1944. He joined the Air Force on February 19, 1963 and flew T-33 jets in Gimli before transferring to Winnipeg. In 1966, he married Gloria Berg and transferred to Moose Jaw Air Force Base where he taught new pilots. In 1970, he transferred to Germany and remained there with his family until 1973 when he returned Canada. On August 9, 1974 he was on the peacekeeping mission in the Middle East when a missile was shot at the transport plane he was flying in killing the crew of nine. He was 29 years old. Keith received the Special Services Medal with NATO Bar, the Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal, the United Nations Emergency Force Middle East and Dag Hammarskjöld Medal. August 9 is now Peacekeepers Day. MITCHELL, William Alexander WWII William joined the Army during World War II and was accidentally killed at Seaoff Langar Island at the northern tip of Queen Charlotte Island. MOLSBERRY, E. V. WWII E. V. Molsberry was born on September 9, 1916 in Riverhurst, Saskatchewan. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force on February 7, 1942 and served in Canada as Leading Aircraftman until he left the service on March 14, 1946. He has been a member of Nutana Legion Branch 362.
