ARNAULT, Clarence WWI Clarence enlisted in the Canadian Army during World War I and was subjected to a gas attack in Europe while trying to close the gap in the German army’s advance. After this attack, he returned to Meadow Lake where he died in 1918. ARNER, Allister WWII Allister was born in Prince Albert in 1914. He joined the Army during World War II and served in Sicily and Italy with the Saskatoon Light Infantry. Allister passed away in 1999.
