The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 325 McDONALD, Malcolm WWII Malcolm was born in 1922. He joined the Army during World War II and served in Continental Europe with the South Saskatchewan Regiment. Malcolm was a member of Prince Albert Legion Branch 2 to prior to his death in 1993. McDONALD, William W. WWII William was born on January 10, 1923 in Brandon, Manitoba. He joined the Army on March 3, 1943 and served in the United Kingdom and Northwest Europe during World War II. Private McDonald left the service on June 30, 1945. He became a member of Nutana Legion Branch 362. McFARLANE, Ralph WWI Ralph was born on November 12, 1897 in Scotland. He filed for Homestead in the Nadeauville area at 18 years of age and was a farmer when he left for Maple Creek to enlist in the war in 1916. He served in France with the 209th Battalion and was severely wounded in the stomach by enemy machine-gun fire while taking part in an operation near Blecourt. After receiving medical care in the Canadian Casualty Clearing Station, he died that same day. Ralph is buried in the Duisans British Cemetery near Arras, France and his name is memorialized on the Nadeauville Monument.
