The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 251 IRVING, Henry Leland Larson KOREA Henry was born on April 20, 1930 in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan. He enlisted in January 1950 in Windsor, Ontario for service in Korea and served on the high seas on HMCS Cedarwood, HMCS Crusader, HMCS James Bay, at Cornwallis and Naden. Henry left the service in December 1955 at Esquimalt, British Columbia as Leading Seaman (LSEM2). Married with two sons, Henry has served as a letter carrier with Canada Post since the war. He is a member of Nutana Legion Branch 362. IRWIN, Clifford Samuel WWII Clifford was born in Francis, Saskatchewan. He enlisted in 1941 and served in England, France, Holland, Belgium and Germany with the South Saskatchewan Regiment. Clifford returned to Carnduff in December 1945. JACKSON, John Emerson WWI John was born to Robert and Alice Jackson of Alida, Saskatchewan. At the age of 20, he enlisted in the Canadian Army during World War I and served in Europe as a Private in the Canadian Infantry. John was killed in action on April 9, 1918 and he is buried in the Cologne Southern Cemetery in France.
