The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 15 AGNEW, Thomas M. A. “Tom” WWII Tom enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force and served from 1940 to 1945. He was part of a ground crew for three and a half years and remustered to air crew and flew with Bomber Command, attached to the Royal Air Force Bomber Support Group, 223 Squadron in Dulton, Norfolk. Tom flew 33 missions over Europe. He is the son of George and Annie Agnew of Nipawin and now lives in Calgary. AKISTER, George WWII George joined the Canadian Army and served during World War II. He was wounded in action and died of his wounds. ALDOUS, Levi Walter WWI Levi was born in Lorlie, Saskatchewan in 1896. He joined the Army and served in the Canadian Infantry (Saskatchewan Regiment), 5th Battalion. He served in Continental Europe and was killed in action in France in 1917.
