The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 151 DAVISON, George WWI George enlisted in the Canadian Army during World War I and served as a Corporal with the Royal Canadian Regiment. He was killed in action on January 26, 1916 at the age of 37. George is buried in the St. Quentin Cabaret Military Cemetery. DAVISON, Wade WWII Wade was born in 1920. He joined the Army during World War II and served in France with the South Saskatchewan Regiment. He took part in the Dieppe Raid on August 9, 1942 and was fatally wounded. He is buried in the Dunkirk Town Cemetery in Nord, France. Wade was married to Beth Downs before the war and they had one daughter. DEFAYETTE, Joseph Henee WWI Joseph was born in St. Jérôme, Québec on October 1, 1897. He moved to the Nadeauville area and began working as a farmer. On April 11, 1916 and the age of 19, he traveled to Maple Creek and enlisted in the 209th Battalion. On April 4, 1917, during the Battle of Vimy Ridge, Joseph was killed. He is buried at Nine Elms British Cemetery near Arras, France. His name is memorialized on the Nadeauville Monument.
