Currie enlisted in the Royal Canadian Artillery in 1939 and served as a Gunner in the 67th Light Anti-aircraft Battery, 4th Division. He was discharged in 1945. CUTHILL, David Edwin WWII David was born in 1909 in Wynot, Saskatchewan. He joined the Army and served in the Italy Campaign with the Royal Canadian Regiment. He was captured on December 25, 1944 and was a POW in Italy, liberated in May of 1945. He was also in C Camp in Austria and was wounded during the war. David was a member of Foam Lake Legion Branch 16 for number of years and he passed away in 1990. DALE, Arthur “Art” WWII & KOREA Art joined the Navy and served during World War II on these Corvettes: Louisbourg K143 F.C.; Dundas K299 F.C.; Drumheller K67 F.C.; Collingwood K180 F.C.; and Ontario #53. He was decorated seven times and attended Queen Elizabeth’s coronation ceremony. Art also served in Korea.
