He joined the Army and served overseas as a dispatcher. Henry and his brother, Oscar, both served as dispatchers during WWII. Henry and his brother, Henry, both served as dispatchers during WWII. DESROSIERS, George WWII George was born in Meacham, SK on November 9, 1915. George grew up on the family farm and took his schooling at Red Willow around the Peterson area. He joined the Army in 1941 and served in England with the Signalman Corps. His brothers, George, Raymond and Léonce, enlisted at the same time. After the war, George remained in England and married Dorothy Horne of Liverpool and they had one daughter. He was employed by B.O.A.S. George died on August 10, 1993.
