She and her brother, Fred, both joined the Armed Forces. Nelda grew up in the Golden Acre area south of Carmel, SK. During her working career, she was with External Affairs in Ottawa, ON. BOYLE, Harvey WWI Harvey was born in Carberry, MB on February 4, 1898. His dad, Jack E. Boyle, ran the first poolroom in Viscount, SK from 1909. Harvey had been a clerk prior to joining the Army at Nutana in Saskatoon, SK on January 9, 1916 and serving overseas. BRADLEY (nee NUGENT), Ella WWII Ella was born in Plunkett, SK. She grew up on a farm and went to school in Plunkett. She and four of her siblings enlisted: Ed, Don and Mary in the Army, and George in the Royal Canadian Air Force. After her discharge from the Royal Canadian Navy, Ella married Len Bradley, a Shell Oil Accountant in Toronto, ON. They raised two children. Ella lives in Mississauga, Ontario.
