The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 445 WORKMAN, Robert “Bob” WWII Bob was born in Plunkett, Saskatchewan, where he attended school as well as at Badger. His parents owned the hotel in Plunkett. He joined the Army to serve in World War II, as did his brother, Willis. After his discharge, he married Ellie McCullough. Bob has since died. WORKMAN, Willis WWII Willis was born in Plunkett, Saskatchewan. He took his schooling at Badger and in Plunkett, where his parents operated the hotel. Willis enlisted in the Army, as did his brother, Bob. Willis married Ethel from Kingston, Ontario and he taught school and lived in the States. WRISTEN, Gordon Ogilvy “Gord” PEACETIME Gord was born in January 1941 in Viscount, SK, where he also attended school. He left home early to work at area farms for a while. After serving in the Army during peacetime, he worked at mink ranching in Alberta and British Columbia and now, Gord lives in Saskatoon, SK and is in the home renovation business. He is married with two children. His brother also enlisted in peacetime and his dad, Roy, served in World War II.
