A.H.C. is listed in the March 2, 1917 edition of The Viscount Sun as one of the men from the Viscount District who enlisted. SMITH, Arthur “Art” WWII Art was born in Viscount, Saskatchewan in January 1916. He went to school in Viscount and helped on the home farm growing up. His mother was left widowed at an early age. Art served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II from 1943-1946 and then again from 1949-1966. After his discharge he worked for the City of Calgary until his retirement. Art married Eileen Whelan. SMITH, Keith WWII Keith took his schooling at Saxby School, north of Viscount, Saskatchewan and helped on the farm growing up. He served in the Army during World War II. Keith lives in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
