The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 307 NEWFIELD, Irma WWII Irma was born in Strasbourg, Saskatchewan in 1918. She joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in Canada as a Leading Aircraftwoman. She married and had one child. Irma was a member of Quill Lake Legion Branch 37 before she passed away in 2002. She is buried in Quill Lake Cemetery. NEWMAN, Grant WWII Grant was born in Viscount, Saskatchewan in 1920 and he attended school there. During World War II, he served as a Petty Officer with the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve and after the war, he was in various businesses. With his wife, Maureen MacPherson, he raised three daughters. NICKEL, Bert WWII Bert had been a farm hand around Viscount, Saskatchewan before joining the Army and serving in World War II.
