The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 277 MILDENGERGER, James “Jim” PEACETIME Jim is in the Royal Canadian Naval Reserves and has gone to Nova Scotia for training. His sister, Lori, is also in the Reserves and his brother, Tim, is in the Royal Canadian Navy. Their dad, Donald, was in the Navy and the Royal Canadian Air Force. MILDENBERGER, Tim PEACETIME Tim was born in 1961 and died in 1986. He joined the Royal Canadian Navy and was a cook on a ship, serving during Peacetime. Tim’s two siblings, Jim and Lori, are in the Naval Reserves. His dad, Donald, was in the Navy and with the Royal Canadian Air Force. MILLER, Anthony “Tony” WWII & KOREA Tony was born in Viscount, SK in 1926 and attended school in Auckland, north of Viscount. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force and served overseas with the First Canadian Airborne Battalion. He also served with the 2nd Battalion of the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry in Korea in 1951. After his final discharge, Tony went to British Columbia where he lived in Delta and worked at the Correctional Centre in Vancouver. His two brothers, Martin and Joe, also enlisted and served in World War II.
