He is listed on the Honour Roll of The Viscount Sun dated March 2, 1917, as one of the local boys who had served his country. McINNES, Donald WWI Donald was born in 1896 in Perth, Scotland. He immigrated with his family to Guernsey, SK in 1908. They lived in Plunkett, and then Viscount in 1919. His occupation was that of butcher, like his father. Donald joined the Army in July 1916 and served as a Private with the Strathcona Horses in England and France. Discharged in July 1919, he was awarded the 1914 Star and the Victory Medal. Donald was a member of Viscount Legion Branch 271. McINTOSH, Norman Duncan WWII Norman was working at Neepawa, Manitoba prior to enlisting in the Army and serving with the Fort Garry Horse. He married Dorothy Peirson in 1941 before being shipped overseas. They have one son.
