He has been a member of Quill Lake Legion Branch 37 for fifty-nine years. MARSHALL, James Stewart BOER WAR James was born in Scotland on February 11, 1879. He served in the British Army during the Boer War, from February 1901 to August 1902. He came to Canada in 1906, lived in the Scrip District, and married Elizabeth Longmuir with whom he had nine children. James died on February 5, 1964 and is buried in Quill Lake Cemetery. MARSHALL, Norman WWII Norman was born in Clair, Saskatchewan in 1917. He joined the Canadian Army and served in the Artillery in Canada, Italy, Holland, and Germany. He married and had 5 children. Norman was a member of Quill Lake Legion Branch 37 for fifty-five years before he died in 1995. He is buried in Quill Lake Cemetery.
