They lived and worked in the Golden Hill district, south of Viscount, SK. They later moved to Saskatoon, SK. MacARTHUR, John PEACETIME John was born in Wadena, Saskatchewan in 1936 but also lived in Clair. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served as a Flying Officer in Canada, France, and Sardinia, Italy for 8 years. John, living in the United States where he flew with American Airlines for 31 years, has been a member of The American Legion. He was married. MacARTHUR, John R. WWII John was born in 1902 in Ontario and then lived in Clair, Saskatchewan. During World War II, he was a Naval Officer in the United States Navy, serving in the US and Northern Ireland. He returned to the United States after the war. John died in 1981 and is buried in Jasper, Tennessee.
