His stepfather was in the construction business there. Melvin served in World War II. LINES, John T. “Jack” WWI Jack joined the Army and served in World War I. The March 2, 1917 edition of The Viscount Sun lists him as one of the men who enlisted from Saskatchewan’s Viscount District. LLOYD, Archie WWI Archie joined the Army and served overseas during World War I. He is listed in The Viscount Sun March 2, 1917 edition as a WWI veteran. Archie was a homesteader north of Viscount, SK and was also a good pool player in his day.
