The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 237 LeROY, Ronald “Ron” WWII Ron was raised in Viscount, Saskatchewan and attended St. Alphonse School for his education. He joined the Army and served in World War II. LESSIER, Leo WWI Leo enlisted in the Army while he was working in the district of Viscount, Saskatchewan. After World War I ended, pins of appreciation for having served their country were presented to returning local veterans. In 1920, The Royal Canadian Legion Viscount Branch was sent a service recognition pin to present to Leo, but he never returned to Viscount to receive it. LEWIS, Charlie WWI Charlie was born in Canada. He joined the Canadian Army during World War I and served in Canada and overseas where he was a victim of poison gas at Vimy Ridge, France. He died in 1931 and is buried in Saskatchewan’s Clair Cemetery. Charlie was married.
