The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 211 KNUTSON, Chandler WWII Chandler was born in 1926 in Viscount, SK. He joined the Army and served in the major campaigns, from England through to Germany. By the end of the war, he was nineteen years old. After his discharge, Chandler farmed in the Viscount area and was on the Viscount Saskatchewan Wheat Pool Committee. He drove a fuel truck for the Colonsay Co-op and later moved to Ontario, where he drove trucks for Ontario Hydro. KNUTSON, Henry WWII Henry grew up on a farm south of Viscount, SK. With his brother, Chandler, he joined the Army and served during World War II. KOLSTAD, Arnold WWII Arnold was born in Viscount, SK. He joined the Royal Canadian Navy and served in World War II. His brothers, Carl, Gus and Les, as well as his sister, Avis, all enlisted. Arnold spent his life in Toronto, ON where he operated a garage. He passed away in 1973.
