The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 177 HAW, Clifford “Cliff” WWII Cliff served in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Lance Sergeant. He was an elevator agent at Sclanders Federal Grain. HEISE, Henry Clarence WWII Henry was born in 1917 to Martin Jr. and Lydia Heise in Bruno, SK. He took his schooling at Sunlight, Auckland, Viscount and Logan schools. He joined the Army on June 3, 1943 and served as a Trooper with the 18th Armoured Car Regiment in Canada, France and Germany. Discharged on April 26, 1946, he was awarded the France and Germany Star, the 1939-1945 Star, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and the 1939-45 Star. He farmed in the Plunkett/Viscount area until his retirement in 1971 then moved to Plunkett. Henry married Frances Moldenhauer later in life and was a member of Viscount Legion Branch 271. He passed away in 1991. HENDERSON, Doug WWII Doug was born in Colonsay, Saskatchewan. He joined the Army and served in World War II, along with his brother, Wilson. He lived in Vancouver, British Columbia and passed away in January 1992.
