WWII Donald was born in Guernsey, Saskatchewan in 1922 and grew up on the family farm in Rural Municipality of Wolverine. He joined the Army and served as a Gunner in World War II. After his discharge, he lived in Vancouver, BC and retired there. GRESS, John WWII John was born on the family farm south of Viscount, SK in 1915. He qualified for a teacher’s certificate in June 1934 and taught until he was called to the Army where he served as a Gunner four years. After his discharge, he continued to teach high school, mostly in the Yorkton area. He farmed for a number of years in the summer and taught in the winter. He upgraded his education at the University of Saskatchewan and returned to teaching until 1969, when he retired in Yorkton. GRIFFIN, John WWI John served in the Army during World War I. He is mentioned in March 2, 1917 edition of The Viscount Sunas a returning veteran from Viscount, Saskatchewan.
