He farmed west of Viscount, Saskatchewan, close to Highway # 2, for a few years after the Hendersons farmed there. FREEMANSON, John WWI John was born in Iceland in 1896 and came to live in Saskatchewan. He joined the Royal Canadian Army and served in Canada for a very short time during World War I. He was a member of Quill Lake Legion Branch 37 for about twenty-five years before he died in 1970 and was buried in Quill Lake Cemetery in Saskatchewan. John never married. FREEMANSON, Walter WWII Walter was born in Carberry, Manitoba in 1905 and came to Quill Lake, Saskatchewan in 1912. He joined the Army and served in Canada from 1942-1945 as a Corporal with the Royal Canadian Army Pay Corps. A member of Quill Lake Legion Branch 37 for twenty years, he never married. Walter died in 1957 and was buried in Quill Lake Cemetery.
