The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 131 FEDERCHUCK, Michael “Mike” WWII Mike lived and worked on farms around Plunkett, Saskatchewan before joining the Army. After his discharge in 1945, he made his home in Saskatoon, SK and worked for City Hospital as well as for the Canadian Pacific Railway as a caretaker until 1968. Mike passed away in 1979. FENN, Kenneth “Ken” WWII Ken was born in Moose Jaw, SK. He farmed in the Plunkett, SK area until he joined the Armed Forces in 1942. After his discharge, he farmed for a while north of Plunkett then moved to Moose Jaw. Later, they moved to Richmond, British Columbia where he was employed by C.P.A. as a foreman in maintenance until he retired. Ken raised three daughters with his wife, Beryl Campbell. FERGUSON, Gerald N. WWII Gerald was born in Sonningdale, SK. He was one of five brothers who enlisted and served in the Second World War. After his discharge, he worked as a mechanic before going into the lumber business. He worked at the Beaver Lumber Yard in Viscount from 1949 to 1951, assisting Maurice Pickering, who also served in World War II. Gerald worked in the lumber business until he retired and he raised three children with his wife, Doris Wallin. They both live in Saskatchewan, Gerald in Moose Jaw and Doris in Carlyle.
