She joined the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II and served as a secretary in Digby, Nova Scotia from 1943–1946. ADAMS, Archie T. WWII Archie’s parents were John and Jane Adams. They had homesteaded in the Davidson district where John had died. Archie and his mother Jane moved to Viscount in 1921, where he was raised. He joined the Army during WWII and served with the Royal Canadian Engineers as a Sapper.
