His brothers, Jack and Gillian, enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force. After his discharge, he joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and participated in the Musical Ride while stationed in Ottawa. He died in a car accident in Toronto, Ontario. EWEN, Gillian “Gill” WWII Gillian’s family lived north of Viscount, SK. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and served as a Flight Lieutenant during World War II while his brothers also enlisted, Ben in the Navy and Jack in the Air Force. EWEN, John “Jack” WWII Jack’s family was living in Viscount, SK when he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force. He served as a Corporal during World War II while his brothers also enlisted, Ben in the Navy and Gillian in the Air Force. Jack was married when they lived in Viscount and his dad was the telephone linesman for Viscount Rural Telephone.
