The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 113 DUMONTIER, Noel WWII Noel was born on December 25, 1921in Viscount, SK, where he attended St. Alphonse School. Noel and his brother, Albert, joined the Army (though in different wars) and brothers, Henri and Charles, joined the Royal Canadian Air Force. After serving overseas, he was discharged and became a Pool elevator agent in Alberta, first in Bonnyville then in Clyde. He married Agnes Tughe. Noel is currently retired and living in Didsbury, Alberta. DUNDAS, Charles “Chick” WWII Chick was born in 1913 in the Glynfield area, north of Plunkett, Saskatchewan. He joined the Army, as did his brother, George, and he served in World War II. Chick married Gladys Solheim and also served as secretary of the Hillsley Glynfield Curling Club from 1935-36. He has passed away. DUNDAS, George Brown WWI George was born on May 21, 1895 in Toronto, Ontario. He was single when he was drafted in the Army on May 9, 1918 in Regina, Saskatchewan. He served with 12 M.D., 1st Depot Battalion of the Saskatchewan Regiment during World War I. His father’s name was Thomas Adam Dundas of Lewvan, SK. George is listed in the Viscount Sun’s Honour Roll dated March 2, 1917.
