The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command LEST WE FORGET 85 DUMONTIER, Charles Jr. WWII Charles Jr. was born in Viscount, SK on October 9, 1923. Charles and his brother, Henri, both joined the Royal Canadian Air Force while his brothers, Noel and Albert (in Korea), joined the Army. After discharge, he went to work with B&B, building bridges. Then he joined the Canadian National Railway road maintenance gang in Melville, SK. He then transferred to Saskatoon, SK where he still resides with his wife, Gertrude Rienke, with whom he raised five children. DUMONTIER, Henri WWII Henri was born on January 7, 1921 in Viscount, SK, where he attended St. Alphonse School. Henri and his brother, Charles, both joined the Royal Canadian Air Force while his brothers, Noel and Albert (in Korea), joined the Army. After his discharge, Henri worked in a home for the aged in Olds, Alberta. He raised two children with his wife, Winnie, and they made their home at Barrière, BC. DUMONTIER, Noel WWII Noel was born on December 25, 1921in Viscount, SK, where he attended St. Alphonse School. Noel and his brother, Albert, joined the Army (though in different wars) and brothers, Henri and Charles, joined the Royal Canadian Air Force. After serving overseas, he was discharged and became a Pool elevator agent in Alberta, first in Bonnyville then in Clyde. He married Agnes Tughe. Noel is currently retired and living in Didsbury, Alberta.
